Your body posture reveals your health, emotional state and level of confidence.
Poor posture is a sign that you're not adapting well to the force of gravity which may reveal underlying health problems. 

Yoga is a system of self discipline which consists of proper breathing, exercise and relaxation.  Benefits are: increasing your heart rate, improving tone in all the muscle groups, improving range of motion/flexibility in all parts of the body (especially the spine), improving your digestion by stimulating internal organs (i.e. liver, spleen, large intestine), regulates hormone circulation in the blood (i.e. decreasing stress hormones), increases your lung capacity, and improves the connection between the body and mind.

 

Adult Mixed Beginner/intermediate hatha yoga classes will focus on proper positioning, physiological benefits, anatomical benefits, and mental/spiritual benefits to the body and mind. Designed for those individuals who have never done yoga or for those at an intermediate level.  Please see "Class Schedule" for more information.
